Parallel to my work is always a consideration for my community. I have taken pride in running workshops for adults and children with physical or mental disabilities.

The quilt project in this section for Shelter homeless charity was something I was delighted to be asked to contribute to, alongside artists and designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Gavin Turk, Eley Kishimoto, Stella McCartney, Kate Moss, Alice Temperley, Jean Paul Gautier, Hussein Chalayan etc.
Each artist contributed fabric or a worked piece to form a quilt constructed by quilt artist Julie Floersch.

The pom pom project involved engaging textile makers from around the world to leave pom poms as a form of positive 'tagging'. Pictured are a selection of my own contribution.

My blog is something which is widely used as an educational resource for textile students, as well as practising artists and crafts people.
